Mad Weather Causes Flood.

On Tuesday and Wednesday the people in the North of New Zealand suffered floods and power cuts caused by Australian cyclone Debbie which headed towards New Zealand. It caused major damage over the last two days. Wild weather caused chaos and damage to many houses and other properties and schools. The heavy rain caused caused powercuts to Papatoetoe in New Zealand and our school power went off.

Cyclone Debbie Strikes Again

Over the last two days the people of New Zealand got an unwanted surprise. Wild Cyclone Debbie from Australia caused chaos for the North Island which meant floods and power cuts hit more than 20,000 Auckland homes over the last two days. Schools got closed and airport flights got delayed and cancelled. Luckily today is normal and we hope we don't get any more rain.

Danger Disaster

In the past two days there's been flooding in the North Island. There's been power cuts to over 20,000 houses and some schools have ben forced to close as well as child care centres. More than 100 have been closed. Airports closed and fights were delayed. Here in Papatoetoe, we had a power cut too.

Cyclone Crazy

In the last two days there was a devastating cyclone in NZ. There was a massive amount of rain that caused floods and power cuts all over the North Island. Schools and airports were closing because of the flooding and the power cut was all over Papatoetoe too. Luckily the sun is shining today.
